About Conference

The Faculty of Management and Marketing of WSFiZ in Białystok and Branch in Ełk organize International Scientific Conference on „Marketing management in contemporary trade and services” which will take place on the 12 October 2007 in the seat of the University of Finance and Management in Białystok by 40 Ciepła Road.

AIM OF CONFERENCE

The main aim of conference is to analyze the strategies of marketing management in contemporary trade and services and to present to participants new concepts of marketing management in Poland and other countries all over the world.

The conference enables the exchange of experience in the matter of marketing management in contemporary trade between representatives of science and economic practice.

A publication containing science papers of prelegents and communications of participants’ research will be published as the result of conference. The title of publication will coincide with the title of conference.

THEMES OF CONFERENCE

  1. The process of marketing management in the enterprise: wholesale trade, retail trade, direct trade, international and global trade, electronic trade [edible and industrial products – assortment, quality].
  2. Development and localization of trading network. Logistics, transport and warehouse management in trade.
  3. Stock markets, auctions, fairs, franchising in trade and services.
  4. Promotion, advertisement, public relations, merchandising, brand of trade enterprise.
  5. Functioning of trade enterprises, cost and prices, effectiveness of promotion activity and PR.
  6. Purchasers – clients of products and services, their needs and market behavior.
  7. Marketing aspects of service companies [banking, insurance, telecommunication, tourist, recreational, transport, non-profit institutions and organizations and others].
  8. Trade in the European Union and trade with the East.
